at ariel's house and what happened before that

3:13 PM
Hello. I'm at Ariel's house (:D).
It's a nice little - I shan't elaborate 'cos it's private.
Ahem.
OK so today we went to the Discovery Centre.
I was of course, very excited. Discovery Centre! :O
OK fine I'm exaggerating but I was looking forward all the same. I heard there was the 4D thingy there and wondered if we would be able to catch a lil' glimpse. :D
(By the way, I type really fast on Ariel's laptop. Hmm.)
So we took the girls-only-bus (YES! :D) to the aforementioned destination. And all the classes going gathered there and listened to something boring. Which I completely did not take in. 'Cos I was reading PF's comic book.
Indeed. -nod head-
Our first stop was the erm, IWERKS? Or something like that screening - what else - 3D (and some 4D!) erm, stuff. Films.
We watched this really hyper cool - and dizziness-inducing - show about this weird guy who has this dream of building lots and lots of buildings (and thus uses wooden blocks and curve-things to build aforementioned buildings). However this owl (obviously it's a bit unrealistic lah!) told him that his dream (however lofty!) didn't include animals. Then a big chunk of preachiness and this ends in the boy becoming a animal (:O) until he dies or something. As the animal. Or gets injured or whatever.
First he became a cougar :O and then a bee -.- and then a dolphin : D and then a frog ._.
Ahem. Yes, a frog. Who gets eaten by a crocodile. Oh yes, then he becomes a big bird. (Not the Sesame Street one lah!) Who flies over the boy's wooden city creation.
And it all ends with the boy re-building his dream to include (quote) "all living things" (unquote).
I dislike the part when the boy-as-a-big-bird flies all over his wooden city 'cos it was damn confusing and here there everywhere the boy/bird flies. And I got so damn dizzy can! D:
Then after that was even more boring. It was this: walk around some weird place.
So I shan't elaborate on THAT either. Suffice to say PF's comic book was much much more interesting.
Afterward (yes!) erm, I eh, oh yes! - we ate. Ahem. Because I had a total of less than $2 in my wallet I just bought a packet of potato chips (spicy for me!) and cheese balls (the actual name of the tasty, tres cheesy snack :D).
Then, I thought we were going back (sadly didn't lor!) but we went to -roll eyes- this F1 thing. -skips the quiz-
Then we had a race! : O
-skips the race as well ._.-
So 6J lost. -cries ala Romeo. Or was it Juliet?-
Ahem.
OK so we went out lalala - go museum!
I inwardly groaned but grew hyper excited when I reached the museum.
'Cos on the door they say got 4D short movie!
Yay! 4D! I eagerly told Ariel about what I knew about 4D. Not a lot, just a gist.
-skip the movie-
So cool! When the helicopter on the screen was flying right, got this very chilly wind blow at us can! And the gun shot/bomb fell got damn loud noise lah! (Not to mention the actual 'guns' at the side appeared to have shot something and got smoke one lor) When the boat at sea was rocking, got water float to us also lah! As in vapour. Still, tres cool! And all the laser grid thing and eh - apparently, got dirt fly out of the holes in the floor. That's what the guide said even though I didn't see nothin'. Anyway.
Oh yes. Some Merlion-making thing. A mini one anyway. I didn't complete it leh. Then we had to go already (no complaints hor).
So then we took bus went to canteen walk talk eat drink etc. then I boarded Ariel's school bus with her!
Then go her house! Use her laptop! :D (Play with her sister's hamsters as well ._.)
OK I got to go liaoh lor. Not 'cos my mum come or anything but I'm too caught up in a gossip session. -cough-
Bye! : D
