Movies
Ladeeda! :O
Three days ago I went to a movie with Yen Siang and Yi Xuan (as mentioned in previous post :D) at Jurong Point! :D
I actually didn't know where Jurong Point was. I thought it was in Jurong (it's apparently in Buona Vista (sp??!))
Ahem.
Anyway, yes, on the 28th of December, at approximately 11.40 in the morning I set off for the MRT station. I had originally wanted to take a bus to the bus interchange nearby, but I decided to walk to the station instead because 1. I had less than a dollar in my EZ-link D: 2. I needed serious exercise.
So yes, lalala, walked to the MRT station and took the MRT to Jurong East Interchange, where I would have taken another MRT to Buona Vista (sp). Right as I stepped out from the MRT, I received a phone call from Yi Xuan :O Apparently, she was at Jurong East Interchange as well. This conversation ended with me walking over to her and waving frantically, shouting "TOE" very loudly :D
Anyway, we both took the MRT to Buona Vista and subsequently walked to Jurong Point's Golden Village. Outside Golden Village, Yen Siang was philosophically leaning on the banister thingy (even though she's not supposed to, 'cos the banister thingy might collapse and she might fall off the third floor of Jurong Point and die tragically impaled on a Christmas tree.
Sorry, wasn't a Christmas tree; was a Santa Toy Village.
Anyway Yi Xuan displayed her childish side by sneaking up on Yen Siang and "boo"ing veh loudly. (I refrain from mentioning my involvement in this plot :D)
Oh yes. Yi Xuan made a comment on my choice of bottoms that day.
*
Yen Siang treated us to Fish and Co. :O
"OHMYGAWD FISH AND CO.?!," (hehe lol lots of punctuation) you say, your expression like this (:O).
Yes, Fish and Co.! :D
It was a memorable meal, with Yen Siang and Yi Xuan conversing very loudly about Jay Chou and the size of the fish (which was big). I said the fries were nice (this is true). Yi Xuan envied my fish:cheese ratio (we had a New York Fish and Chips thing, which had mozarella in it :D).
We couldn't finish the meal (sadly). Yen Siang scorned my drink choice, i.e. Ice Lemon Tea.
Hmph D: I liek ice lemon tea :DD
Anyway, Yi Xuan and I shared a salad. I ate all the leaves (!?) and she ate the rest (muahaha! :D). Yen Siang had a separate Fish Nuggets thing, which was tasty :D Unfortunately I kept dropping my nuggets -_-
(OK sorry for lack of Singlish lah hor I dunno why I sound so un-Singlish-y and stuff D: Untoey! Must Not Speak Proper English :O)
Anyway hor (YES!), after the meal-that-we-could-not-finish, we went into the cinema and bought drinks. Yi Xuan paid for my green tea :D (Thank you so much lor! :D)
Anyway, Twilight was nice. I want to read Twilight. Seriously :D
I hope they make a sequel lor! :D
OK OK after our cinematic experience, Yen Siang discovered -_- her handphone was inside the cinema ._. While waiting for her, Yi Xuan and I ordered a Butterfly Prawns dish (weird name :O) which I paid for (because she treated me to green tea, so I treated her back! :D).
So yes, beautiful day! -sings a happy song-
Ladeeda I'm weird.
P.S. Yi Xuan read my Trixie Belden :O :D :D

Books
Yeah, this BOOKS thing, not referring to Mon Frequent Library Trips. It refers to yesterday's registration at the Ghim Moh MOELC (Ministry of Education Language Centre ._.) with my mother.
Woke up at seven, Unearthly Hour. Even though we could go there at five in the afternoon-evening and no one would care.
My mother decided to torture me by waking me up early.
Anyway. Woke up blah blah blah blah blah. We MRTed to Buona Vista and started a FREAKING 1.5 HOUR TRUDGE AROUND THE VICINITY OF FREAKING BUONA FREAKING VISTA WITH ONLY A FREAKING 20 MINUTE FREAKING BREAK BECAUSE WE FREAKING GOT FREAKING LOST AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
That pretty much summarizes everything.
The taxi-driver didn't know where the MOELC was lor can! Brought us to MOE (which was in the district, most confusingly). MOE told us 'the other side'. So we walked back to the MRT station. The MRT guy pointed to a random direction, and we ended up in some void deck, with no MOELC in sight.
After that we walked a lot some more lots ohmygawd.
Finally when we reached there, we kinda uh - registered -nods head-.
Then, had a drink before trudging back to the MRT station, after which, MRTed home :D with new books in tow! French! Le French! Bonjour! Felicitations! Ma seur! :D
OK that was random.
Voila, we found America!
OKOK Fiona stop it.
Hmph.
After back home, continued reading my Nancy Drew (did I mention my mother got seriously pissed off with me 'cos I kept reading a book D:).
After that, was ironically, back to library. My mother didn't want us to borrow any sort of book 'cos the school holidays were ending, but we borrowed books anyway ._.
One of the books I borrowed was BECOMING BINDY MACKENZIE. It is now one of my favourite books (oohlala) :D
Ohmygawd the plot is like cool lah and this Bindy was seriously delusional at one long point :O :D
Anyway, cool book. Buy me it for my thirteenth birthday.
Weird French Outburst:
I am going to write a book! (not French at all, but you get the point, non? :D)

Downloadable games
Self-explanatory.
Gotta play now.
Bye :D

11:27 AM
Yesterday I went to the Singapore Science Centre with my parents and Wawi (Wawi being my brother, age 8)! :O
I shall not describe the trip in detail because it wasn't very memorable. In fact, lots of walking around and little of seeing-the-exhibitions because there were lots of people. Too many people (this part sucks).
Anyway, some exhibitions (the ones we actually managed to use/see) were pretty cool :D like the Nanotechnology ones :O
There was a talking toilet bowl, a robot (clutching a teddy bear -_-) you can play games with and some virtual fish pond thingy.
All four of us tried the talking toilet bowl and I was the healthiest among us! Waha! Of course it based the calculations on our weight-height-age ratio etc. and not our erm, poo-poo samples (for lack of better word).
Ahem.
There was also this drawing thingy using a touch screen, but this boy kept clearing my undone abstract art with a button. I left.
Oh yes, we did take a look-see around the Magic Exhibition, but it was pretty boring much. Except some levitation thingy :O :O Waha I floated :D
After the Magic Show (which came after the Magic Exhibition, which frankly interested (to the point of hysterical screaming :O) only the younger of my generation), we browsed the Curiosity Shop (didn't buy anything D:) and ate at Macdonald's :D
Afterward, we left the premises. On the way to the MRT station, Wawi and I spotted the JURONG REGIONAL LIBRARY and managed to uh, successfully convince our parents to let us go there! :D (This is mainly because I remembered that JRL had a lot of Nancy Drew books)
So blah blah ran there etc. etc. used my father's IC to borrow the books -_-
So yes, I borrowed 3 Nancy Drews, 2 Trixie Beldens, 1 Gilda Joyce and one other book (I forget the name ._.).
Woot!
Anyways, got to go :O meeting Yi Xuan and Yen Siang for movie.
Twilight! -hops arounds excitedly even though I don't actually read Twilight-
Bye :D

back-to-school + christmas :D

10:08 AM
I am so freaking excited/nervous/happy.
:O
First off: MERRY CHRISTMAS! (and a Happy Nuu Year :D)
Yey!
But the library's closed so in the morning when my brother and I went there, we could only return books - which is sad.
And by the way, right now, my brother is being stupid (more than usual). He's torturing my dahling Viver D: 'cos I won't let him use the computer. He used it in the morning, and now it's my turn. I won't give my hour up, no matter what he does or says. I will save my darling! D:
-saving (rescue) in progress-
Yey; saved-slash-rescued! Now Viver is uh, exploring the keyboard.
I chase my brother out of the room (using violence. I know that say Violence Is Not An Option, which I sometimes-agree with, on account that my brother is perpetually being obnoxious, really, inviting me to treat-him-violently-or-he-wouldn't-get-The-Message. Rest of the time, I completely agree with Violence Not Being An Option :D)
OK I digress again -_- Start from this afternoon. My mother decided (yes! -throws confetti-) to fulfil some of the wishes on my Back-To-School (Wish)list :D
It's a (Wish)list because the items on the list are extravaganza! :O
OK fine that was grammatically incorrect but whatever. Anyways, items on said list:
Sidenote: I was reaching for the mouse just now and I grabbed Viver! ._. Wahaha!
1. clean bag (I wanted 'new', but that was gonna be way over-budget, making this (Wish)list a Wishlist D: So yeeeeah, my nice bag, only cleaner :D)
2. new pencilcase (:O)
3. new wallet (omygawdness THE WALLET SHOP! -hyperventilates-)
4. new stationery (never-ending supply of G2s, etc. etc.)
And that was it! Seriously lor. And OK, I definitely get my clean bag :D And today my mother brought me (and the rest of my nuclear family, of course) to AMK Hub! 'Cos she thought she saw a The Wallet Shop there or something.
Woot!
I remember going there, like, last year (?) or something.
Anyway, AMK Hub via MRT (ladeeda).
Seriously, lots of walkwalkwalking :O
Which means I get much-required exercise (thanks to my fondness of lazing around during the holidays -sinks into ground in shame-), but which also means uh, tired legs.
-nods head-
First we explored the first storey, which was packed with a Holiday Crowd, not-an-unnatural-mass-exodus. Holiday Crowds are naturally large. So today, we spent some time 'excuse-me'ing. The rest of the time, we kept an eye out for The Wallet Shop.
After 10 minutes of unsuccessful searching, my father finally spotted a counter and brisk-walked there to ask the counter-person where the wallet shop is.
The counter-person in question directed us to the third floor, and so lalala we went to the third floor, only to find NO THE-WALLET-SHOP, though yes, there was a wallet shop. This was deeply untoey D: because The Wallet Shop rocks my socks off :D
The wallet shop that the counter-person mentioned was someshop called Wallet Linc (?) or something. And although it does stock several nice wallets etc., it just wasn't my style.
Like. I'm gonna be using the wallet and the pencilcase for my entire secondary school life (at least 2 years) so I should get one that I like, non?
Unfortunately, after browsing the entire array of shops on level three, I found no satisfactory wallets.
Although OP was cool.
In the end, I got very disappointed in myself and got stuck in what Mr. P6 English would say, a Moral Dilemma.
Though not very Moral-ly and more Dilemma-y. The conflict: wanting to please parents (I distinctly heard them discuss my fussiness etc. etc.) and myself (I can't help being fussy, can I?). So the question; should I just get the nicest wallet or a wallet I really really like?
In the end, after lots of more-walking, I decided to go back to OP (OP! Ocean Pacific is completely kuhl (I got this form of spelling from a shop called uh, Kuhl Concept(s) (?)))
Sidenote: Lots of brackets :O
Anyway, pencilcase was a nice-ish black thingy with enough space for aforementioned endless-supply-of-G2s etc. Said black thingy also has a blaring 'Ocean Pacific' (typical -_-) in scrawly font and pink (pink :O) over a silvery mass of scribbles/brushspam.
Cool, I thinks. Although the silver was more of a uh, dirty white? (sounds weird like that :O but honestly it's kinda OK :D) and there was Glitter.
The wallet was a black thingy as well (I like black lor! :D), with some weird pink-and-white floral-heart on the front, and OP (as. usual) on the back (thankfully with a width of less than five centimetres).
The more I look at them, the more I like them. The reason why I bought the wallet was 'cos I thought it would look damn cool :D with an iron-on fabric tape thingy on it, stating some french phrase like Bonjour (fine, this is more of a word) or Excusez Moi (woot!).
Like in The Wallet Shop (ah!) last time, I saw this Really Cool wallet with a lady drawn on and a speech bubble saying Excusez Moi :D
When I say it like that it might not seem brilliant, but it really IS (at least I think :D).
Ohmygawd now I'm rambling/ranting -_- D: What happened to my Singlishy, light-hearted style!? Ohmygawd I do not want to sound like Ariel, ahhhhhhhh!
Ahh!!
Anyway. After buying the stuff, we ate at Fish and Co. :D I didn't care much about this even though I normally dislike eating fish, 'cos I've got a blocked nose and can't taste anything anyway lor! :D But the fries were superb, as much as blocked-noses go.
Heh. After eating, homeward we went!
Ladeeda! -pictures myself in MRT doing supposed calf exercises, much to my mother's amusement-
After we got out from the MRT, my brother and I raced. This led to a rather unfortunate, not to mention tres embarrasssing, event which I shall explain:
My mother was in front of me when I rushed to the ticket machines, and I changed my mind about which ticket machine to go through, split-second-ly. This meant that I had to cut into the way of a highly unfortunate person, and worse still, I actually karate-chopped him (unintentionally hor! I was flailing my arms as I ran, for some reason ._., and I accidentally hit him lor!). This resulted in moi, hurriedly passing through the open-close-barriers, while shouting at the top of my lungs to my brother, "I hit the old man at the back leh howww!"
And then when I finally passed, all thoughts of the race banished, I grabbed my mother's arm and looked back again, only to notice 1. the man in question was not old. Middle-aged maybe, but Not Old 2. the man in question was staring at me in a half-angry-half-shocked expression, his eyes bulging, expression somewhat like :O
Now that was not good at all. I realised he would probably come over to punch me so I instinctively slunk under the protection of my mother, my own eyes bulging, expression somewhat like D:
Walkwalkwalk home, all the while likely boring my mother with tales of how pretty the wallet would look with EXCUSEZ MOI stamped on it.
Sidenote: OHMYGAWD WHY IS MDM. P6 CHINESE EMAILING ME?! -hyperventilate-
OK. Home.
:DSidenote: Ohmygawd luckily hor she only emailed some Christmas greeting. Phew.
Shortly after reaching home, my sister literally slapped me with a fish, albeit a fish-shaped brochure-thingy from Fish and Co. D:
I spent the rest of the time from then to now watching the Weekday 5.30 Channel 8 show, which is nice.
Then I got on the computer to blog, beating my brother, literally and figuratively.
Adios! I would post a picture of kyute Cookie (baby hamster :D) on a plushie snowman I snapped a few weeks ago, if I could. Cookie, now, has a weird mark on his fur, closely resembling an eyebag, with allows me to easily distinguish him from the rest, apart from the male anatomy.

zomg lalala!

11:41 AM
I'm feeling tres random-slash-happy now!
Happy 'cos my brother, being dishonest, tweaked the parental controls thingy! I know I'm not supposed to be happy about his behaviour but lalala! :O
Finally I can see my blog! :O
And my friends' blogs! Woot! -throws confetti-
Random 'cos ... I dunno.
Anyway, I would like to mention that my life has degenerated to such an extent that I read Hannah Montana books.
Shocking, ain't it?
Seriously lor! The library I frequent does not have enough Nancy Drew-slash-Trixie Belden-slash-other cool mystery books. And this, whatever your opinion on Nancy Drew.
Ahem.
Anyway, the-thing-about-reading-Hannah-Montana-books sucks mostly because even my brother scorns such selection. And said brother, may I mention, reads books like Trash Crisis On Earth.
Plus I'm not really a fan of Hannah-slash-Miley Cyrus.
Ah.
On another topic: who's gonna feed Etsuko's hamsters, then? :O Omygosh, five days without food is scarily scary D:
OK. Bye.
-throws confetti-
Oh!
Edit:

I LOVE LITTLE NYONYA! :O

ladeeda friday

2:07 PM
Sidenote: tres sorry for being ewil and not blogging for so long D:
Friday; reporting day.
My father and I had to awake at a semi-ungodly time, i.e. six in the morning. I haven't woken at six since school ended, seriously :O
So yes, I awoke at six and found both bathrooms in my house occupied; the one in the master bedroom by my father and the one outside by my domestic helper. Needless to say, I slumped onto the tres comfy sofa to rest. Ahem, yes, to rest. I ignored my primary school uniform next to me on the sofa, which was conveniently laid out by my domestic helper (it is at times like this I feel thankful for a domestic helper, woot :D)
Anyways. Blah trudging drowsily to bathroom, washing up, etc. etc.
After above blahness, my father and I set off, alongside my mother who was also setting off for work. Unfortunately the time was 7.20. This was Not Good. See here for planned schedule
7.20: set-off!
10 min: walk to bus stop + wait for bus + bus to bus interchange
7.30: wait for bus no. 961
10 min: aforementioned waiting
7.40: journey to NYGH (my school, woo-hoo! :D)
1h: aforementioned journey
8.40: reach hall for briefing etc.
*
Therefore we would be TEN MINUTES LATE, AT THE VERY LEAST!
This fact caused me to hyperventilate briefly.
To make things worse, after stepping onto the surface of the void deck, my father decided to EAT BREAKFAST.
Wtfh? We're gonna be 10 minutes late (at the very least, I mention again) and you want to eat breakfast (no doubt wasting at least 5 minutes of my life to buy said breakfast)?
The good news: my father thankfully decided to buy rice-kueh (thereby wasting only 5 minutes, and not more).
The bad news: we were still going to be late! -hyperventilate!-
The good-er news: my father decided to cab to NYGH! Thank goodness lor omygawdness. This is exactly why my life is so disorganized, with random cancellation of original plans in pursuit of other plans.
Thus we reached school at 8.10 (wao! :O).
The taxi-driver was highly efficient.
Anyway, after stopping off and us hopping out, my father strode to the bulletin boards situated conveniently in view :D We spent two minutes looking over names, even though we found my name around ten seconds after we reached the boards. I was in group nine, and so was Zhi Xin :O
After that we sort of stumbled around, clueless about directions (we're both hopeless, it's hereditary I suppose D:). Ahem. For some reason or other, we managed to reach the Canteen. Blah the buying of uniforms and books, ladeeda.
Oh yeah, my father for the Parent Support Group thingy lor!
Anyways, at 8.30 we both ran up to the hall (we followed the unnatural mass suddenly pouring upward). I got delayed at the Third Language boards. After rapid scanning I FOUND MY NAME! :O :D
-squeaks like Viver just now when ewil Travis stepped on her D:-
I first scanned the Malay board and was sadded when I didn't see my name, before realizing shortly after that my applied-for Third Language was French. So I scanned the next board and SAW MY NAME!
I said that already, haven't I? :O
Oh well. Afterward, by the way, we rushed into the hall, with my father somehow trailing me as I tried to find my group. I pointed out that parents were sitting on the chairs, at the back and he trailed off again to find a seat ._.
Heh. I found my group and sat down.
Blah the talks in general. My aunt (the one who owns the dogs Wei Wei and Lucky :D), who is also a secondary school teacher, suggested I take down notes. I had a piece of paper ready, as well as a pen, but frankly the content of the speeches weren't that all interesting. It went somewhat like: principal's speech (bilingual, therefore making everything doubly long -_-) - introduction of electives (?) by respective in-charges (not bilingual, thank goodness. The speaker for one of the electives was called David Gan (seriously), but he don't look nothing like the make-up guy :O) - end.
So it was quite boring, really, seeing as I've neither the qualifications (music elective: no instrument. art elective: inability to draw 3D figure) nor the inclination (malay elective).
Of course I still listened. I have to say the powerpoint slides were much more artistic than the ones at NYPS :D
Ahem, not putting anyone or anything down, hor.
Oh and even though the talks in total were supposed to last half an hour, they lasted an hour :O
OMYGAWD I USED VERY LITTLE SINGLISH IN THIS POST LEH! O.O IN FACT I USED LESS THAN TEN SINGLISH WORDS LEH! EVEN THOUGH IN THIS UNDERLINED NOTE I USED LIKE, THREE ALREADY LOR! (including 'lor')
Ah. But I digress.
Sidenote: Viver is sleeping! Aww my sweetie-pumpkinpie :D
Ah shoot ten minutes left!
After the talks was the registration -yawn-. Took super long lor, was like, thirty minutes before my turn -_- I saw my father with one of my paternal aunts, 'cos my paternal cousin was gonna be a NYGH student too :O :D! And also said-cousin's sister, an existing student :D
After registration? Looked briefly over files and went down with aunt and cousins to buy cousin's uniforms (they bought the books already, though).
After waiting around (saw Etsy :D, saw art pieces by art elective students (pretty! I liked the fashion pieces, totally cool! :D), read book ._.), my aunt offered to send us (me and father) to the Bukit Gombak MRT station. My father said OK so yeah, blah blah blah.
Caught a glimpse of the campus; was super big :O
Anyway, got to go (sadded), two minutes left lor! Sorry this post is largely overdue ._.
I want lemon tea! -rushes out-

psle certificate collection
Friday, December 19, 2008
4:05 PM
Sidenote: Viver keeps wriggling in my hands. Ah. I shall put her back into her cage.
Hello!
The PSLE certificate collection was yesterday, actually, but I -hangs head- was procrastinatish (the invented word detracts from the seriousness of this sentence! :O).
Anyway. I shall blog about it today, which is infinitely better than not blogging about it at all, non?
Sidenote: Ariel relinked to wordpress, why! D:
Anyway (again).
Yep, woke up at some ungodly hour, about 8. Then ladeeda, bathed etc. took bus :D to school with mother :D
At the bus stop where we alighted me and my mother parted ways -dab eyes- because she didn't want to walk such a long distance.
I pffted her (I think) and made my way. On the way I spotted PF, a classmate of mine and we walked the rest of the way together to the school.
Blah blah, made small talk but conversation gradually became uncomfortable silence.
Didn't matter then, because the school was 2 metres away.
Anyway, when we reached the third floor (where the hall was, and where we were supposed to meet, at least I think) we sort of lost each other because of unnatural mass exodus.
Ahem.
Anyway just as I was preparing to knock my head against the wall, I spotted 6J.
Or rather, Xin Jie's head.
Thank goodness, in any case.
Just as I made my head to aforementioned bobbing head, I saw Mr. Tan, who promptly informed me that my parents owed the school money.
Great.
Anyway, I trudged up to the sixth floor (a familiar and nice feeling :D), amongst some other classes.
Sidenote: RGS gave out towels? :O Ariel said so. And one point I want to point out -_-: why do they give random and personal objects such as said towels?
I'm having a horrible weird recollection of Ariel's Powerpuff Girls bath towel. I do not want to think about it.
Nuuuuuuu!

Ah. I digress.
Sidenote: Ariel is bombarding me with questions like: does NYGH have special school socks?
Ah, I digress again! :O
OK OK. Anyway, yes, made my way up to class. One step into classroom and I was greeted with a joyous "TOE TOE TOE!" (coupled with random er, hopping, oui -_-), courtesy of Ariel.
Of course I was touched by this gesture of goodwill, which I assume means that said hopper was happy to see me.
After aforementioned joyous exclamation, several other, more normal greetings were heard. I did a bit of chatting, and Etsy gave me her present (!).
It was a watch! :O (I could vaguely feel a watch-y shape between the Christmassy toilet wrapping paper)
Gah. The door just slammed shut, due to Big Wind (I sort of like Big Wind :D)
Anyways, Mrs. Chan/Mr. Tan called us to the floor to have a last briefing, which ended sorrowfully. "This is the last time we see you" is sad enough, hor? D:
Anyway, above statement was untrue because Mr. Tan then added a word to it, i.e. officially.
That means we can pop in time to time to see them and our dahhhling juniors. I'm actually, sort of anticipating the trips :D
Oh yeah, gave out report books/PSLE certificate/testimonial too, in case I forget to mention it (oh yeah I did forget ._.).
I gave everyone their presents (that means Ariel, Etsy and Yen Siang). I didn't give Yi Xuan her present personally, because she was still holidaying! :O
Blah walking down, Etsy pleading with me to get my mother to let me go out with her (because my mother so psychic-ly ended her SMS to me with a "no going out with friends today"), giving the school eleven bucks to pay debt etc.
After a final farewell to my dearest school as a student, and feeling sad, me and my mother headed towards Coronation Plaza (!) to eat.
Anyway the food was nice (Cosy Corner or something), especially the popiah! :D But the drinks were -_-.
First of, I ordered a strawberry milk tea and I got something that tasted suspiciously like strawberry milk ice-blended -_-
Anyway, after that meal we headed for Orchard :O via a bus (I was reading my Trixie Belden, woo-hoo for mysteries! :D)
Walkwalkwalked around Orchard road and bought a fruit juice each! :D (Actually my mother's was a rather weird blend of celery-carrot. I, personally, detest celery and am bochap to carrot)
Went Takashimaya to walk around again. In the end we sat at some benches because my mother was fed-up with me-and-my-reading-of-trixie-belden (ahh D:).
She did her work, while I read and after I read -_-
After that incident we shopped around, ladeeda :O My mother almost bought me this weird clip-thing that looked like it belonged to my sister's hair three years ago. I, being a person whose age was two-digit-ed, flatly refused, much to my mother's displeasure. The rest of the time at that shop was spent finding a suitable hair-thingy for my mother. This adventure bore no fruit, and we walked away empty-handed (!).
But that was OK, 'cos after five minutes we got hungry/thirsty and headed for Kinokuniya :D (!) :D
I hadn't realised we'd walked from one building to another and when I spotted the LV shop was pleasantly surprised! :D
Anyway, I wanted to read at Kino but my mother wouldn't let D: (what was the purpose then! D:) We ate this chicken bites. I ordered Mango Tango as a drink and my mother a cappuccino.
The Mango Tango was yoghurty and tasted weird :/ My mother kindly commented that I wasn't having much luck with most of my drinks today (think strawberry milk and mango yoghurt D:).
I ._. her.
Then we left and she bought me 8 DAYS! :D
Afterward we MRTed to Outram Park to collect a receipt or something at the dental clinic; headed home.
*
Veh veh sorry D: I can't blog today about today -_- because I've 10 minutes left.
I promise to try to blog tomorrow about today!

Disclaimer: Title of post is mostly irrelevant, except I'm drinking namesake now.
Disclaimer: Above disclaimer is tres ungrammatical, please forgive.
OK.
The title supposedly subtly hides the real subject of this post, which is another library trip.
Muahaha!
But wait! Aforementioned library trip was special in a way (read: weird).
I shall start.
OK at around 2.30 I set off for the library, dressed in a tee and short shorts.
Due to wearing said uncomfortably-short shorts, I took up a book and started to read it, to distract myself from said un discomfort.
Anyway, blah blah, reached library.
After wandering around and comtemplating which books to borrow ("what?! No more Nancy Drew! -expression: :O-" "yey DOG WATCH! -cheerleader cheer-" "omygawd I found one more Nancy Drew! I think I read it before, rigghtt -recollection of an eight-year-old self happily reading said Nancy Drew book at Macdonald's @ Admiralty MRT station (my memory fails me not! -brandishes Shakespearian sword in my mind's eye, for some strange reason-)-
Above part is very weird O.O
P.S. I borrowed aforementioned Nancy Drew book anyways.
P.P.S. I suppose I've read almost-all the Nancy Drews at the Woodlands library lor :O
P.P.P.S. Dog Watch is about dogs, -gasp- yes.
Anyway I set off for the borrowing counters on the third floor, via the escalator.
To my surprise, the first book I borrowed (the Nancy Drew one), turned up on the screen as: B0782*****E.
Seriously. Of course, I was rather bewildered. I'd rather expected it to come up as: Danger on Parade (the actual title of the book).
And somemore hor (oops, slipped into serious-Singlish mode :O), the rest of the books I borrowed turned up all weird as well!
AND THE STRAW THAT BROKE THE CAMEL'S BACK (pardon me for using such cliched expressions)?
The fact that out of the six books I'd brought down to borrow, only four could be! Borrowed, that is. This puzzled me aplenty (ohmygawd my expressions are getting weirder and weirder O.O) because I had returned six books! (and thus, using logic, I should've been able to borrow six)
Alas, this was not to be.
I'd to make do with four.
And now I've approximately thirty minutes left on my computer, so I shall bid adieu to all you readers.
And ohmygawd I sound like Shakespeare.
Was it the Shakespearian sword that did it?
I think I might want to eat myself.
TTFN! :D

10:09 AM
Hello. My father set up a time restriction thingy. This is good and bad in different ways, but oh well. I just want my laptop back.
More updates, yeah:
1. Mocha has been transferred to a separate (temporary) cage beside he was viciously attacked by his former cage-mates/brothers Latte and Cafe, resulting in injury.
(by the way I've no idea why I'm sounding like this)
2. I've started preparing Christmas gifts! -cheer cheer- (Wahaha what kind of update is this lor)
3. -thinks- I'm hungry, must eat breakfast already.
4. French is super-duper difficult lor! I'm almost regretting choosing it already! The pronunciation part is ... hard. Tres bien sounds like eh, tre bian or something. I think. Anyway: still gonna work on this! :D
5. Shoot. Stabbed my foot on the pointy edge of a drawer. Hurts leh D:
6. SORRY MUST END THIS POST NOW OTHERWISE GOT NO MORE TIME ALREADY!
Bye D:

Hello, tres sorry for not being online for like - one week. I've a valid reason, namely The Death Of My Laptop D: (what else, frankly ._.)
Anyways I'm blogging here on my father's desktop. The keyboard is weird.
I shall now list several interesting things that have happened in my life this one week (or so). I shall not elaborate much on Said Interesting Things because 1. it would take too long 2. I do not possess such a good memory as to remember everything (pardon the grammar).
Anyway:
1. Free Starbucks -gasp (Actually it's free if you make a donation of any amount. But whatever. Starbucks for FIFTY CENTS (but of course I donated more than that. Seriously.))
2. Cream's death (Cream is, by the way, my brother's favourite baby hamster. I was crying like siao lor D: We've no idea what the cause of death is, though D: Rest in Peace, Cream D:)
3. Prawning @ Bottle Tree Park (My brother actually caught one; and I Didn't :O Fortunately the uncle gave us some free prawns -_- or we would have gotten a single prawn for the grand price of almost thirty dollars (absurd))
4. Shopping (this is a general term, seeing as I didn't do much of it. Shopping, as in.) with Etsy (Bugis Village :O and Causeway Point :D I bought a notebook and she bought two hundred earrings and superglue (superglue part is true hor))
5. Almost-Daily Library Trips (I actually have gotten sick of non-mystery books :O ahh)
*
Anyway anyway. To erm, fiona hater:
One word: Juvenile.
Another few (take 'few' with a pinch of salt) words to elaborate: I do not profess to be an English professor, neither do I act like one. I suspect (and not without logical thinking) that English professors of this world 1. use proper English (not Singlish) 2. have good grammar.
If English professors were like me, I'd weep for my generation (SEE SEE EVEN THIS I COPY FROM ARIEL ONE LOR) -sobs accordingly-.
Bye. Mebbe I can get online (please please fix my laptop soon, repairman D:) soon, but I ain't making no any promises.

4:58 PM
Currently, my life is so boring I actually find going to the library the most interesting thing that could happen in a day.
Therefore I shall bore everyone to possible death by telling you about my library books -gasp-.
Yep, just back from library :D
Out of eight books, five (seriously, five) were Nancy Drew, one was The Pet Finders Club, one was Agent Angel and the other one was randomly picked.
Reading the Agent Angel one now :D
Bah ohmygawd my life is so boring. I can't wait for the 18th.
Oh well.
Did I mention that yesterday, my sleeping pattern was highly weird?
It went like:
1. tossed and turned in bed
2. decided to sleep at the other end of the bed
3. slept - dreamed
4. woke up
5. slept - dreamed
6. woke up
7. slept - dreamed
etc. etc.
You get what I mean right?
The thing is, I completely forgot what I dreamed about -_-
Gawd I want to remember.
Haha, anyway, bye now.
:D
P.S. Woke at twelve :O

escape theme park (woohoo)

6:11 PM
Yey my parents took leave today :D to bring our family to Escape Theme Park :D
Me=happyhappy
Heh, yes, poor vocabulary but whatever.
Woken up by several members of household (inclusive of domestic helper again ._.) for some reason I couldn't remember, then. Mostly because I was groggy and all I wanted to do was to sleep.
Then I suddenly recalled my parents were bringing us (me, siblings and grandmother, parents themselves inclusive) to Escape Theme Park :D so I sort of jumped out of bed and rushed to brush teeth etc. etc.
After we ate breakfast at home we attempted to set off to the bus interchange to take a bus (forgot the number) to Tampines. Then from Tampines, we would take the MRT to Pasir Ris and take a bus from there to Downtown East.
But somehow my ez-link card + badge thingy was missing :O Apparently my father saw my sister throw it out of the house (via the door, thankfully) and so a few of us searched the area outside the house.
For some reason the ez-link card was found but the badge-thingy wasn't there :O
Therefore I'd to settle for a Thomas and Friends (the train thing)-themed badge-thingy, which was to say the least, childish. I'd much rather have my plain/generic badge-thingy than a cartoon (somemore a cartoon I don't really enjoy watching)-themed one.
But one must learn to be gracious. And so I accepted the badge-thingy as gratefully as I could muster :D

Thomas and Friends badge-thingy I accepted, me holding it. It was only when we entered the lift and when the block-cleaner came in that my grandmother asked him if he'd taken it (exact words forgotten). The block-cleaner nodded yes, and held up the garbage bag -_- I couldn't exactly rummage in the rubbish for a single badge-holder (that doesn't make much sense), so I left it as it was D:
Anyway we bussed to the interchange, then bussed again to Tampines. When we took the MRT to Pasir Ris, my father had to ask people about the bus to take and whatnot so the rest of us hung around in 7-11 :D
I bought a Pokka Premium Milk Tea and it tasted exactly like Teh Tarik.
-_-

Anyway we bussed O.O again to Downtown East.

At the bus interchange :
O
To be precise, we tried to bus there but missed our stop -_- (yes, even though there were like, three? or four stops)
So we had to walkwalkwalk to the HQ (I dunno what exactly it is lah OK so I just call it HQ). From the HQ we can walkwalkwalk to the chalet, or Wild Wild Wet, or, of course, Escape Theme Park :D
So obviously we walkwalkwalked to Escape Theme Park :D
Yey! :D After a lot of queuing (although only for my sister. My grandmother was a Senior Citizen ._. so she could get in free, and my father had a corporate pass, which allows four to get in free. He borrowed it from his company for a day.) and waiting, we finally got in! :D

The Corporate Pass :D

-_- My brother was worried he would be shorter than 1.2m ._. For the next ten minutes my mother, my grandmother, my brother and I were very sian because my father was accompanying my sister to erm, race around in a kart or something.
After that when they both came back me and my brother wanted to go to this supposedly-scary-shack (yey for alliteration :D) called Haunted (II).
So we queued (lots of people lor :O) but the queue was damn long so my parents somehow managed to persuade us to go onto this Kite Flyer/Yakult Ride.
Quite fun actually, albeit a little dizzying.
After that me and my brother (from now on, Travis) decided to really enter Haunted (II). Our father (whom we were counting on to prevent us (fine, me) from screaming or shrieking or yelling) was -shock shock- buying drinks so we'd to -gulp- go alone.
Yep, we queued. The view of the outside was obstructed by some fabric that was artfully torn in places :O but we could still see the Yakult Ride outside -_-
OK. Queuequeuequeue.
The people in front of us all went in and I was reduced to a blathering, sorry state D: Suddenly this family O.O came out and ohmygawd we (as in me and Travis) had to go in leh!
Some scary stuff were inside, including a gory figure of a half-eaten creature (ohmygawd :O). The last straw came when a vampire (I think it was lah) stood at the entrance to another room and I completely freaked out and refused to pass said vampire D:
So my brother had to go out with me ._. He was complaining all the way out lor. Hmph.
Anyway my father returned from buying the drinks so uh, WE WENT IN AGAIN!
I agreed to it.
When we got to the front again, the three of us, the guy-in-charge recognised me and said:
Oh, it's you again ah?
-_-
After a while we went in and it was ohmygawdness. So scary lor D: Yes, scary, even though I didn't look properly at all the scary stuff.
I didn't scream though :D
When I finally saw daylight I cheered and hopped all over :D
Next, we all randomly wandered again, then went on the roller coaster. It's actually called the Family Coaster, for some reason :O
Anyway my parents also came :O and my father was yelling his head off next to me -_-
Then we went on the Pirate Ship.
SUPER DIZZY leh :O
But the worst part was when we went down. It was a ... floaty feeling, and not in a good way, either D: Like my arms were going to separate from my body and my body was going to fly up.
Seriously I was screaming my head off can! There was once I gave two short shrieks and the person behind me gave two short shrieks as well, at the same time lor! Then our row and her row started laughing like siao. The laughs quickly turned into screams though ._.
My brother promised D: to go on the Wet And Wild ride with me but he was scared and backed out! Left me to endure the 15m drop alone! D:
Although the 15m drop was what turned him off in the first place ._.
It was shiok. The up-up of the 15m drop I was like WTFOMGWTFOMGing.
:O
Hehe.
After that, I found Travis and my parents again. Then, Travis and I decided to go try the Bumper Boats :D
While queuing a trio of under-sevens -_- started arguing with my brother.
I basically ignored them, with the exception of poking my brother sometimes.
._.
Sidenote: Campus Superstar! :D
Anyway, me and my brother went separately. I was aggressively assertively squirting water at him -_-
List of People I squirted water at
1. People on the boats (especially my brother)(mostly accidentally, except my brother)
2. The guy-in-charge (the first time I was just-nice facing him and had an ewil glint in my eye, but he quickly ran behind a pillar ._. the second time, though, I managed to get him :D and in revenge D: he splashed water at me! so obviously, I retaliated right, and erm, ended up squirting...)
3. THE WHOLE QUEUE (I seriously wanted to squirt water at the guy-in-charge only! then somehow I messed up the controls and while pressing the squirt-button, moved, and eh, you know the rest. Suddenly came a big 'woooo' from the people lor :O)
At the end of it I quickly ran to Burger King (where my family told us to go) in order to protect myself from being hit and possibly sent to KK Hospital Ward... 102.
D:
Anyway, I managed to convince my brother to go on the Wet And Wild ride :D
So we did! :D After a brief conference with my mother.
This time I sat at the back :O and got damn damn wet lor.
:D
Afterward I changed into significantly dryer clothes :D 'cos I was damn wet :O Then, ate :O
After that we ... went out lor D: My father went to get a refund for something and so the rest of us made a quick stop at the beach :D I took lots of pictures can! Heh.

Lots of berries :O

Slanty tree ._.

-_-

Shoes/slippers/sandals - not ours! :O Just thought it'd make a nice shot :D

The sea! The big blue sea! :D

The mangrove :O It's like, right in front of the sea lor :O

Grasses by the mangrove.

I like the waves :D

My slippers, my brother's sandals and someone's beach ball. Plus a coconut, see? (Next to ball)

Coconut.

My brother's hand ._.

Rubbish on the beach D: there's loads lor. But this bottle looks photographic, hor? :D

Cloths.

Teehee. I erased it, though :D

A... lamp-post.
*
Anyway, we left after that :O
Hope you enjoyed this post lah :D
Yey.

12:37 PM
Me. Super. Sian. Now.

D:
'Cos I'm using my father's desktop and I'm not quite used to using it D:
Plus his computer doesn't have Firefox and I've to use IE.
D:
My laptop is screwed!
Anyway, yesterday I went to the Singapore Flyer.
Yey! But truthfully, it was pretty boring D: I took pictures though :D
The entire structure is quite beautiful actually :D
But enough of summaries.

Let’s have some adorable hamster pictures to make up for yesterday’s not-posting first before my actual content, OK? :D

Viver, my dahhhhling! :D Looking adorable, as usual 8D

Oh.My.Gawd.

This is terrifically kyute –picks Viver up and hugs her-

:O All the super-adorable babies! :D Brother holding them.

Babies with Sushi :D

Latte :D

Latte again (he’s the most camera-friendly leh!)

Cafe :D sleeping as uuuusual -_-

One of them (I forgot lah and somemore cannot see clearly D:) eating on the second level of the three-storey cage :O

Hamleto peering curiously at moi! :D I think I woke him up, hehe. Sorry hor, Hamleto! :D

Hmph, both of them trying to divert my attention as usual ._.

I’ve individual pictures but I’m not gonna post them up because I’m actually doing this post in my screwed, no-internet-connection-suddenly laptop. In Microsoft Word, that is. My brother is usurping the desktop –holds hands to heart and staggers to the floor-

OK sorry overly-dramatic.

But yes, super difficult to resize all the photographs! D: And somemore no internet connection leh, how to blog like that D:

Untoey. Ah, I’ve to make do anyway.

OK I’m gonna start on my actual content :D
*
In the morning, ladeeda, read library books -_- including some by Anthony Horowitz (horror stories, yey).

I also ate cheesecake. It's been my breakfast, pretty much, ever since braces. Except today. I'm drinking some soup. Nice soup though.
Shortly after that, I used the laptop for half an hour (mostly bloghopping) before we had to change clothes and bathe and whatnot. Then, set-off! :D
Took the MRT to City Hall and walkwalkwalked to that particular bus stop in order to catch the bus-that-brings-us-to-the-singapore-flyer.
But then we were hungry so we decided to go to the very nearby Funan DigitaLife Mall (how do I remember this?) to eat. At this Bistro Amigo place that my mother often patronised when she was working near there some twenty ten years ago.
I had a complimentary soup (carrot, but it was OK and not bleah as I expected). Actually there were two complimentary soups, so one was given to me (something to do with my braces lah) and the other to my grandmother who rejected it and kept pushing the bowl to moi. Hmph. I didn't drink her portion though.
I ordered Chicken Chop (my mother and father/sister too). My brother and my grandmother ordered the Fish And Chips.
Yey then ate lor. The Chicken Chop was difficult to eat, in a way (because of braces). My front teeth hurt when I bit into the chicken piece -_- The fact that the skin (outer-covering ._.) was hard (albeit peppery) didn't help D:

I couldn't even eat everything lor! There were french fries too but I ate like, four and the rest were eaten by my brother -_- Then there was these vegetables which I completely didn't touch. I don't mind though, hehe :D

After that was dessert :D The apple pie there is supposedly critically-acclaimed (stated on the menu), and it was really tasty :D Especially the ice-cream, yey! :D It was flaky (for lack of better word ._.) lor, and I can like, tear it off piece by piece.
But anyway. I was reading my library book so I took verrrrry long to finish eating ._. My mother was like complaining lor. So I made a mental note of the page I was reading then and slammed the book shut. Then I gave a look to everyone who happened to pass by and scared a cat.
After eating we walked around in the mall a bit before heading towards that bus stop with a FunVee sign.
Like this:

Did a bit of light editing because it was dark.
And while waiting for the bus my brother was being lame. And I snapped pictures of his lame-being as to blackmail him to give me all his allowance! -ewil laughter-
OK lah I'm joking D: I'm such a wonderfully empathetic and nice (I'm using an overrated word again) person, so why would I do that? -dabs eyes with frilly nineteenth-century handkerchief-

Ahem.

Yes, that’s my brother with the red spectacles and red shirt. And yes, dangling around his neck is the ugly badge-thingy mentioned in a previous post.

Also, yes, that’s his -_- face.

-_-

After that I made him pose again ... ...

Like this.

By the way, that pink-shoed leg is my sister’s. And the man carrying her is my father in weird jeans. He is trying to be casual. My brother is smiling foolishly to my mother for some reason.

Oh yeah, for me to take the picture.

"Another one," I said, "do your gey one leh!" ... ...

This has got to be the geyest picture ever :O

-faints-

Although the one below is also very gey. And the one below the one below. Hah.

Next... ... (you must be wondering how terribly tiring it is to have me for a sister)

Puppy-dog eyes! ACBC lor :O

And this was supposed to be sad leh -_-

After that, "the last one lah! Really last one! Faster do!"

Uh. Hamster-pose ._.

I wanted to be ewil and make him do more poses (despite my assurances that this would be the last picture, yes. I'm that ewil D:) but just then, BUS CAME! :D

It was supposedly double-deckered but the bottom level was cordoned off with an umbrella.

REALLY. It was hooked on this hook and the other end was forced into place.

Took a picture of the front of the bus, for reasons currently unknown.
Heh.

Anyway, because the bottom was inaccessible (cordoned off), so all of us could only get on the upper-decker. Then yep, there were loads of people who poured into the bus. So, my family got seats at the back of the bus, which is pretty much the best family-size seats ever. :D Except that my grandmother chose to sit in front :O
I took pictures of random things/structures I rather liked :D on the way there.

Erm. The field-area beside.

After a bit of driving, we passed a cute building :D

Aforementioned cute building! :D

Same building (I just think), and different designs, how cute is that? (not very, but ah whatever)

After another while and more excited chatting between members of my family, the conductor guy came and asked if we'd tickets. My father promptly waved the tickets at him -_-

The conductor then started talking about how we could buy tickets from the FunVee bus etc. etc. When he finally finished ranting, we started being able to see the Singapore Flyer from the bus! I hurriedly rummaged in my bag for my phone to take photographs of such a wonderful structure -weeps-.

Pictures of the Singapore Flyer from the bus.

Yey! :D Looks impressive :O

Another shot, taken approximately 4 seconds after the first one:

The dangly-thingies are some Christmas (supposedly lah) decorations hung from a tree.

Soon we could get off! :D

First picture I took after I got off the bus :D:

I’m so impressed by myself sometimes. Nice photograph right? :D

Then we had to walkwalkwalk a lot and take escalators up and down.

This shot taken near boarding area (see below).

Finally at this 'boarding-area' (they call it that lah, even though we'd to walk and wait a lot more. I guess it's the area that only ticket-holders could pass to thus board the Flyer), I took a photograph! :D

Meanwhile my father rushed to validate the tickets at another building O.O There's a bridge connecting the two buildings but wtfh still, so troublesome D:

Ladeeda. Pretty, pretty! :D

Ariel, get it? :D –points to wheelchair icon-

Anyway, this was taken at the entrance of the path-to-the-singapore-flyer, hehe.

Below shots taken on the path-to-the-singapore-flyer:

In case you're wondering the process of walking-waiting:

(After passing boarding-area) First we queued up to enter the lobby. Then we'd to queue again in the lobby -_- to enter the room-that-leads-to-the-path-to-the-singapore-flyer. Then we'd to queue again in the room-that-leads-to-the-path-to-the-singapore-flyer. Finally we got to walk on the path-to-the-singapore-flyer :D
It had a nice, albeit distant, view of the people/ponds below.
But there was this part that was super scary lor, because there wasn't any safety-barrier thing or what leh, so if anybody accidentally fell hor, can literally die lor! :O D:
OK lah maybe cannot die lah, 'cos there was a safety net below the platform.

Still scary.
Anyway a capsule stopped a while and we went in, yey. It was air-conditioned so I started taking many pointless pictures. Pointless because you can hardly see anything clearly, the capsule being so high in the sky (ohmygawd, it rhymes).
Haha anyway I took the photographs! :D

:O Wonder what that ladder is for ._.

The capsule moved very slowly, so I could take many photographs, haha :D

A minute later...

O.O Dunno what that is actually ._.

Half a minute later...

Can see the Marina Barrage leh! :O Plus a red boat ._.

The shot below taken when we were nearing the top :D

:O The Merlion is somewhere near there.

At the toppest already! :D Yey! :D

On the way down...

Me pondering upon the essence of life :O

View of the water body below.

Pretty water! :D
Thirty minutes later from the start of the ride, it was touchdown.

The capsule was still moving when we’d to walk off onto the path can :O

But anyway, walkwalkwalked down and wandered around the shops and whatnot. There was a Fish Spa and we originally wanted to go but my father wouldn’t let D:

My brother and I huffed off in a sulky way. The only difference: he cried (O.O), I didn't :D But we calmed down around ten minutes later :D

Anyway, my father wanted to know if we could go to Orchard :O to see the Christmas decorations. So while he rushed off again -_- the rest of us wandered around!

There was this Rainforest, so-called. We went in.

The snowflakey-pond in the Rainforest :O

After a bit of wandering anyway, we entered the 7-11 store and bought Slurpees :D

Yey.

Then we’d to take the same bus back to the same bus stop, all the while avoiding the conductor’s (?) sight because no-eating-or-drinking in the bus ._. Eheh. And I was drinking my Slurpee! :D

Then, alighted.

Funan DigitaLife Mall at night is all lit up :O

At first we planned to take a bus all the way home (even though it would take us like, two hours). But after ten minutes, the bus still hadn't come, so we decided to take the MRT back. It would be faster, too :D

We all walked to the MRT station.

St. Andrew’s Cathedral :D beside the MRT station :D

At this point in time my phone was low-battery-ed D:

But anyway, I hope you enjoy this less-word-content-but-picturey post :O

Bye.

P.S.

Few more hamster baby pictures OK! :D

Baby in a spoon :D

In my hand :O

Aw, sleeping :D

Mass gathering, LOL.

Just to piss you off: a tree! :D

Wahaha :D
