Disclaimer: Title of post is mostly irrelevant, except I'm drinking namesake now. Disclaimer: Above disclaimer is tres ungrammatical, please forgive. OK. The title supposedly subtly hides the real subject of this post, which is another library trip. Muahaha! But wait! Aforementioned library trip was special in a way (read: weird). I shall start. OK at around 2.30 I set off for the library, dressed in a tee and short shorts. Due to wearing said uncomfortably-short shorts, I took up a book and started to read it, to distract myself from saidun discomfort. Anyway, blah blah, reached library. After wandering around and comtemplating which books to borrow ("what?! No more Nancy Drew! -expression: :O-" "yey DOG WATCH! -cheerleader cheer-" "omygawd I found one more Nancy Drew! I think I read it before, rigghtt -recollection of an eight-year-old self happily reading said Nancy Drew book at Macdonald's @ Admiralty MRT station (my memory fails me not! -brandishes Shakespearian sword in my mind's eye, for some strange reason-)- Above part is very weird O.O P.S. I borrowed aforementioned Nancy Drew book anyways. P.P.S. I suppose I've read almost-all the Nancy Drews at the Woodlands library lor :O P.P.P.S. Dog Watch is about dogs, -gasp- yes. Anyway I set off for the borrowing counters on the third floor, via the escalator. To my surprise, the first book I borrowed (the Nancy Drew one), turned up on the screen as: B0782*****E. Seriously. Of course, I was rather bewildered. I'd rather expected it to come up as: Danger on Parade (the actual title of the book). And somemore hor (oops, slipped into serious-Singlish mode :O), the rest of the books I borrowed turned up all weird as well! AND THE STRAW THAT BROKE THE CAMEL'S BACK (pardon me for using such cliched expressions)? The fact that out of the six books I'd brought down to borrow, only four could be! Borrowed, that is. This puzzled me aplenty (ohmygawd my expressions are getting weirder and weirder O.O) because I had returned six books! (and thus, using logic, I should've been able to borrow six) Alas, this was not to be. I'd to make do with four. And now I've approximately thirty minutes left on my computer, so I shall bid adieu to all you readers. And ohmygawd I sound like Shakespeare. Was it the Shakespearian sword that did it? I think I might want to eat myself. TTFN! :D
