Damn lor! Just now I typed a bit the (newly repaired, may I mention?) laptop hanged lor! So now have to type again! -face palm- Anyway. Le First Day Of Le School, on Friday! (a few days ago) I was too nervous to eat brekkie. Unhealthy, I realise. But I was like omg lah first day leh eeeeeeep! Basically v. Singlishy and not anything you expect from a, ahem, wonderful NY girl! OK that sounded weird. Whatever. The uniform was OK-ish, except 1. the skirt was damn long lor, actually knee-length+few inches which is weird 2. the blouse is hard to fit into. Yes, it was the right size and I'm not deluded. Lalala. School bus, I was the first on among the five people O.O Yes, five! :O Ahah. The bus had seatbelts, get that. Seatbelts, alive and kickin'. (this is a freaking figure of speech hor! I'm not deluded! Nuu! Why do I keep having the idea people think I'm deluded?! OMG I'M REALLY DELUDED!) Sorry. Oh whatever. The sec. two was super hyper and made small talk with the people behind me. Which is nice, 'cos she makes an effort to connect (?) with uh, her juniors :D Around fifty minutes later, we alighted at NYGH, le school! :D NYGH was super big lor O.O Haha I almost got lost looking for the General Office. And when I finally near the G.O (General Office), ahead of me was a gigantic crowd that gave me a slightly claustrophobic feeling. Like a hand clutching at my chest, which made me hyperventilate-like. I turned back a few times but finally decided to push my way through the people to check what class I was in! And, ooh-la-la! I was in freaking 113 lor! Woo-hoo! Me, a 113'er (how do you spell this, by the way? :O)! So anyway, checked the board several times (just to make sure I wasn't seeing things) before heading to the quadrangle (spsp?). Saw Ting Ting! Woo-hoo! She's a 113'er too leh! So I danced happily around singing the school song. Apparently :D Etsuko :D, Xuan Li :D and Sabrina :D (-_-) are 113'ers too! Woo! OK lah this is blah-ish 'cos this happened so many days ago. I shall stop here (tres abruptly, apologisations (._.)) but (yep, there's always a but!) I shall like, summarize the rest of the day(s). After the quadrangle thingy (we had the flag-raising ceremony and a "hello" speech by le Principal :D), we went to the Auditorium (hereafter known as "Le Audi", kapeesh? :D) and had another talk by our LD (Level Director). OK lah, back to class, etc., were introduced to our Form Teacher (hereafter known as Mr. Tan, 'cos, uh, he's Mr. Tan ._.) and our Co-form Teacher (Ms. Khoo! She's so freaking enthusiastic, and Michelle (mon cousine (-_-), sec. four NY girl) says she's pretty nice :D And then we were put into groups by Mr. Tan, and Etsy/Xuannie/Sabri/Ting were not in my group! Which sucked lor, big-time! Instead, I was in a group with a damn sporty tracker (Rebecca), her friend Nicole, Kellynn (Rebecca's new-found friend) and Yan Li, from NYPS! :D OK lah this group is nice (esp. Nicole! She's quite friendly!) but ohmygawd not fair, Ting, Xuannie and Sabri in the same group! :D D: Anyway, I shall try my best to be friendly and talk to my group members in order to foster good relationships! ! Then Spring Cleaning. We all had to clean our respective tables with disinfect-ive wipes, first. I took a broom to sweep the floor afterward but avoided the area three metres away from the faulty window (marked by seniors with a piece of foolscap paper with FAULTY WINDOW scrawled on it :D), just in case I accidentally opened it and killed someone. And Mr. Tan gave out our diaries :D and the timetable. By the way, the seniors who passed by in large numbers were damn hysterical and zi-high leh! They kept shouting to Mr. Tan ._. After that uh, forget what happen already. Le Blah. Shoot, shoot. I only remember all the PSLs! (PSL stands for Peer Support Leader) They came in and talktalktalked to us! Xiao En is the Exco (pronounced... Ex-quar? :O) one, like, the leader lah, which is cool 'cos she's like damn enthusiastic can! Can! Can! Ah shoot I'm talking to myself again ._. And we played Captain's Ball, skirts vs. shorts! -_- I'm not too sure who won (-cough cough-). Plus! Plus! Angel X Mortal! :D Some people got their first letters from their Angels leh, and I was so freaking envious and curious what my Angel would sound like! Whatever! Move on to Day Two! Ladeeda! Oh wait yeah, after school, me and Ting visited NYPS! :O We sneaked in under the cover of random NYPS girls (the uniform is kinda samey) and the guard let us in lor! :D The main reason was not to see the teachers, but to buy cheap food (!). When I saw my P6 teachers I like, RAN AWAY can. Ohmygawd I'm so weird. Day Two Three words: Effing. Effing. Effing. OK nuu, not those: Le. Sports. Trials. And basically, I got all sweaty (stop ewing lah. We did ten (approximately) sports lor!) and smelled sweaty too (!). I shall list :D the sports we did. I did record 'em in my notebook, so I shall go get it now! :D -gets- 1. Basketball We did running for this. I didn't get selected for the second trial (where they dribbled and stuff) but I sorta -twiddles thumbs- expected that lah. I also realised the people in our class are damn uh, athletically-inclined. Eep. 2. Volleyball Weird trial. We'd to run after the ball a senior threw and catch it before it fell to the ground. But no sort of hitting it with your fists lah, just normal throwing -_- Anyway, got in for the second trial :D 'cos I caught all three balls (yey! :D), but the second trial I failed. ... ... Ah. 3. Track and Field Gawd. This is the worst. Ahh. First, warm-ups (dammit) under the sun: two freaking rounds -roll eyes-. Then, fifty metres (sprint)! I was the last group and the fastest, believe it or not lor. But I think this is because of all the undone exercise lying around in me. Heh. This was strangely exhilarating :D But then. Gawd. Effing eight-hundred metres can! Dammit! I was the lousiest lah! Ohmygawd my stamina is like, nil. Oh damn damn. I seriously, am not looking forward to our cross-country run or whatev we'll be doing like ahh! Sorry for being incoherent hor. Neways. Javelin throw afterward. I threw lop-sidedly. No jumping! I lieks jumping D: 4. Softball Throwing again. Ting almost got it; she was quite good :D But on one hand I was secretly hoping (!) she wouldn't make the cut, in case she went to join Softball. But on the other hand, when she came back to me (looking expressionless hor) sitting and waiting, and told moi she didn't get it I was like, sad for her lor! I have such weird le feelings. 5. Squash Effing effing Squash is GOOOOOD! I got noted leh! Serious. By the way, I've never ever played Squash before lor. Actually hor -cough cough-, I got noted 'cos of the agility run we'd to do. Me and Kellynn (v. sporty :O) both got noted 'cos of that (but I was slower, duh -_-). But the actual hitting was a total flop can! Three tries; twice I completely didn't manage to hit the ball the all, and once I hit the ball, lop-sided. And inside I was like thinking: ohmygawd typical lor! 'Cos Squash is tres cool and I wanna get in :D No Badminton trial though, for some reason :/ 6. Recess ._. 7. Netball Cool trial :D All the netballers are damn tanned lor. Like super duper tanned :O But this thing. The senior kept asking moi to jump to catch the ball she threw, but I was like, why jump? because I could easily catch the ball without jumping! If she wanted moi to jump, then freaking throw the ball higher, non? No hard feelings or offense though :D Netball, in my opinion, is still a cool sport :D 8. Tennis Lalala. Tennis! :D I myself was uh, notverygood but this girl, Jamie :D was super super wonderful can. I hear she was a player in her primary school :D 9. Judo Ohmygawd Judo rocks can! We assembled in the gym, sans footwear of any sort. And then we'd some Judo stuff. Like the Forward Roll (rolling... forward) and, ohmygawd, Cartwheels leh! I could (barely) do the Forward Roll thing but not the latter -cough cough- D: Oh yes, we threw the seniors can! Woo-hoo! :D I threw a senior (itching to keep throwing people -_-) and got noted lor. LOL. Sidenote: I never tried Judo before either lor. 10. Artistic Gymnastics Bah! Was anticipating jumping really really high on the trampoline but never lor! Pfft. Anyways, still kinda cool lah :D 11. Table Tennis No comment. 12. Wushu I cannot do a freaking split! 13. Shooting See 11. Lalala. Day Three More perspiration! But this was good perspiration hor! We had Orientation games lor, Telematch/Amazing Race! :D OK first Telematch :D We changed into our dark tees and had an ice-breaker game before going down to play this hoppy game. I cannot describe it but it was pretty... boring? Yes, bond-ish, but a little boring all the same. After that was a freaky-cool game called Bravado. It goes like this: 1. two people are tied together by the hands with a string/ hold hands 2. they step onto two-canteen-tables-placed-side-by-side together and run to the end. Then hop down :D 3. they run into a hula-hoop and turn around in it three times 4. they run to the front of benches-placed-together-covered-into-soapy-water and ARE FORCED TO LIE FACE-DOWN (!) on the benches (etc.) 5. le facilitators pull the people, sliding them over over over aforementioned soapy water (O.O) 6. the wet/soapy individuals have to blow the flour in a flour-bowl and get a sweet with one of their mouths (!!) Which was disgusting (the putting-mouth into the flour part :/) but super damn fun! :D And after that we all gathered around the flour-bowl. I got freaking flour in my hair, head and on my pwetteh tee D: Untoey! OK then, recess :O Ateeeeeeeeeee. After that, went back to class and started the Amazing Race! We uh... TRIED LE BEST! Ohmygawd I want to sound act-cool-ish, so I shall say: Whatevs! Sidenote: Ohmygawd some random oldie is playing can! :O And then... CCA concert/exhibition! Concert was super cool and really professionally done :D I esp. liked the Modern Dance one! Apparently they chereographed the dance themselves lor! :O * Bye. Day Four is today, I suppose, but today was nothing special. Except for my Chinese Drama auditions (went kinda well, I suppose :D). OH YES I DISCOVERED MY ABILITY TO CRY IN A MINUTE! IT'S (kinda) SPONTANEOUS LEH! WOOT! Ah well. Ohmygawd and tomorrow I'm having my Choir audition leh! Zomgzomgzomg. Wish me luck. Eep. Eep. Plus I'm sorry-sorry! about having such a stupid post (this). I'm kinda pressed for time, 'cos aiyah just. Just sorry OK! Bye bye bye I'm gonna drink hot chocolate.
