On Chinese New Year's eve, I skipped tuition and went to some hotel for a reunion lunch with my family :D The food was okay lar :O There was a bar there, and I took random cocktail stirrers ._.

On the first day I... lazed around at home until around two, because for some reason my maternal grandmother said not to visit them :/ so anyway, we went to Bugis to pray at the temple via taxi (yey!).

And, zomg it was total pandemonium okay? Smoky air (because of all the joss sticks burning, hello -.- There were cute little (half-burnt and very black ._.) Milo tins with charcoal in them randomly placed on tables for people to burn their joss sticks in! :O And for some reason, there were a lot of joss sticks STUCK in the soil ._. Poor plants :O), unnatural mass exodus (!), erm... Yeah. I chickened out and didn't actually go into the temple though (my father did) because I was feeling kinda woozy, like I couldn't get oxygen (claustrophobia? Or maybe 'cos of the amount of pollutants in the air ._.)

Tweedle then ate lunch at this place called Pasta de Wakaru (I think) :D the food was okay, though I really prefer Chinese-style scallops as compared to Japanese-style ones :O Then... after eating we went to my aunt's house for this beeg gathering (oh! And in the taxi we saw Chef Daniel coming out of it~ (okay so the picture in the link is not exactly very flattering ._.))

Hmm so yeah at my aunt's place - played Wii (zomg I'm super fail at Mario Kart :O and tennis :O and boxing :O okay everything alamak.), ate a lot of pineapple tarts -coughs- and yep. Yey funz :D

Nexttt! Today, went lots of places :D same as last year basically, and the year before that and... well you get my point -.- But we watched Men In Black II :) which was funny! After we visited my uncle in hospital :O! And... well, yeah that's all :D (but still, you know, funz.)

Oh we borrowed the MIB2 DVD from my relative and watched it at home :O

Now I'm watching Dante's Peak :D! While my grandaunt has some friends/relatives over at our house!
