This is what happened two minutes ago:

Me: -reads with great interest about eyjafjallajokull on Wikipedia-
Me: -sees the pronunciation thing, exclaims- "OH I shall go and play the recording of how to pronounce 'Eyjafjallajökull' because it is such a cool word and people will stare at me in wonder when I learn to pronounce it!"

Me: Ey-ya-fla-ka?! Fla-keh ._.?

Moral of the story:
